Sydney Consulting Group · Experience Design Director
Led design across employer, member, and producer portals for four carrier clients — bringing structure and continuity to experiences that had grown disconnected, while building shared design systems and partnering on go-to-market strategy across the distribution network.

Served as the design connector across 3–4 product teams within a large-scale healthcare digital transformation — co-facilitating a 2-week community research sprint for a dialysis care management tracker and establishing shared design standards across find care and get care journeys.

Redesigned the provider directory and find a doctor flow within the member portal at one of the largest BCBS plans in the country — reducing friction at a critical digital touchpoint and translating member research into actionable design direction across three core portal journeys.

I'm an Experience Design Director with 20 years in healthcare and benefits — spanning commercial health plans, Medicare, supplemental insurance, and worksite benefits.My background runs from pushing pixels to leading the cross-functional conversations that make design work at scale. I'm IDEO-certified in Human-Centered Design and hold a Forrester CX certification. I believe inclusive, accessible experiences aren't a feature you add — they're what good design looks like by default.As a leader I invest in people who can articulate, defend, and evolve their own work. I bring a calm, grounded presence to complex organizations and build bridges across teams that don't always talk to each other.
